The Pottsville campus of McCann School of Business & Technology announced that Donna Yashinsky, Gilberton, and Anthony Avezzano, Minersville, both 2013 graduates with an associate in specialized technology degree in network administration, successfully passed testing and are now CompTIA Security+ certified.
The campus also announced that Amanda Batz, Schuylkill Haven, and Kirstin Getts, Pottsville, both 2013 graduates with an associate in specialized business degrees in medical assisting, and Christine Stillitano, Orwigsburg, a 2012 graduate with an associate in specialized business degree in clinical medical assistant, successfully passed the National Health Association examinations and are now certified clinical medical assistants.
Megan Keisling, Donaldson, a 2013 graduate with an associate in specialized business degree in medical assisting, has successfully passed the National Healthcare Association examination and is now a certified clinical medical assistant. She was hired by Comprehensive Women's Health Services, Pottsville, as a medical assistant.
Lisa Blankenhorn, Orwigsburg, a 2013 graduate with a diploma in the clinical medical assistant program, successfully passed the National Healthcare Association examination and is now a certified clinical medical assistant. She was hired by Cardiology Associates of West Reading.
Kimberley Devine, Tremont, and Kerry Scott, both 2013 graduates with diplomas in medical billing and coding, successfully passed the National Healthcare Associate examination and are now certified billing and coding specialists.
Kimberley was hired by Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center, Tremont, and Kerry was hired by Precision Home Healthcare.
Jennifer Sadusky, Tamaqua, a 2013 graduate with an associate in specialized business degree in electronic health records, successfully passed the National Healthcare Association examination and is now a certified billing and coding specialist. She was hired by Schuylkill Medical Center.
