n Nuremberg: The Nuremberg Celebration Committee will hold its first meeting of the new year at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at the North Union Township Municipal Building.
n Pine Grove: A Fire and Ice Winter Fest is slated for 2 to 6 p.m. Jan. 27 at the clubhouse in Sweet Arrow Lake County Park. It will include firing up hot dogs and marshmallows over an open campfire, singing campfire songs and playing miniature ice golf. There will be a hot chocolate booth, a fire hot chili cookoff and a homemade ice cream demonstration and sampling. Advance registration is required to participate in the competition.
