Police investigate
criminal mischief
GIRARDVILLE - State police at Frackville are investigating a case of criminal mischief in Girardville.
Police said someone threw a wooden chair at a glass window between Thursday and Saturday at 231 A St. and broke it.
The victim was Angela Francis Klinger, 32, of Girardville.
Police said those responsible left the scene after the incident.

2 escape injury
in 1-vehicle crash
HAMBURG - A Schuylkill Haven woman and her passenger escaped injury after she lost control of her car on an icy road.
State police at Hamburg said the accident occurred at 9:40 p.m. Friday on Old Route 22, 968 feet west of Monument Road, in Windsor Township, Berks County, as Danielle E. Reber, 29, of Lenhartsville, lost control of her 2002 Chevrolet Blazer on an icy patch of road and slid onto the south embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn onto its roof.
Reber and her passenger, Brett A. Welker, 27, of Schuylkill Haven, were not injured. Both were wearing seat belts, police said.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
