Long guns stolen
from Tilden home
HAMBURG - State police at Hamburg are investigating the theft of 12 long guns between 8 a.m. Feb. 28 and 5:30 p.m. Saturday from 211 Memory Lane, Tilden Township.
Police said someone entered the home of Julie Tomasko, 52, without causing any damage and stole the shotguns and long rifles from a wooden case in the bedroom.
Man cited for theft
from Cabela's
HAMBURG - A man was cited for retail theft after attempting to steal $133.93 worth of merchandise at 6:43 p.m. Saturday from Cabela's, 100 Cabela Drive, Tilden Township.
State police at Hamburg said Bryan Patrick Wolf, 22, of Randolph, N.J., concealed two pocket knives, a hat, an air freshener, a belt, a slingshot and a vehicle sticker and attempted to leave the store without paying.
Wolf was arrested and released into the custody of his parents, police said.
3 men cited
for harassment
NEW RINGGOLD - Three men were cited after a fight at 7:07 p.m. Thursday at the New Ringgold Inn, 200 Hughes Street.
State police at Frackville cited Ricky David Boyer, 55, of New Ringgold, Brad Comisac, 35, of New Ringgold, and Barron John Belsak, 41, of Pottsville, for harassment.

Man faces DUI
after traffic stop
SCHUYLKILL HAVEN - A New Ringgold man faces DUI charges after being pulled over by state police at Schuylkill Haven at 11 a.m. Friday at Route 61 and Liberty Street, North Manheim Township.
Police said Matthew Lee Osenbach, 28, was driving a 1997 Jeep Cherokee on Route 61 and committed several violations.
Police said Osenbach showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol and admitted to having several drinks.
Charges are pending the results of a blood test.
Police arrest 2
on warrants
FRACKVILLE - West Mahanoy Township police arrested two people Friday on outstanding bench warrants while they were staying at Granny's Motel, Frackville.
Amanda Barefoot, 35, of Osterburg, and Kevin Evans, 25, of Schellsburg, were remanded to the Schuylkill County Prison.
