In recent Schuylkill County Court action, President Judge William E. Baldwin accepted guilty pleas from, and, pursuant to agreements between prosecutors and defendants, imposed the indicated sentences on, these people:
Jesse C. Albertini, 26, of Pottsville - driving under the influence and speeding; 10 days to 12 months in prison with immediate parole, $1,555 in fines, $100 payment to the Substance Abuse Education Fund, $60 restitution to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street and 40 hours community service. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of driving under suspension-DUI related.
Thomas A. Armbruster Jr., 61, of Bowmanstown - DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia; 15 days house arrest with electronic monitoring, 45 days strict supervision, 16 months probation, $1,000 fine, $100 SAEF payment and $460 restitution to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street. Prosecutors withdrew charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and failure to stop at red signal.
Ashley Bynon, 20, of Tamaqua - two counts of simple assault and one of disorderly conduct; 23 months probation, $50 payment to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, drug and alcohol evaluation, no contact with victim and 10 hours community service. Prosecutors withdrew a recklessly endangering another person charge.
Michael F. Conrad, 68, of Tower City - theft and receiving stolen property; 12 months probation and 10 hours community service.
Mark A. Fortney, 58, of Oneida - DUI; 30 days in prison, 120 days house arrest with electronic monitoring, seven months strict supervision, four years probation, $1,500 fine, $300 SAEF payment, $60 restitution to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street and 20 hours community service. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of improper driving without lights.
Kendra L. Jacoby, 25, of Schuylkill Haven - retail theft; 12 months probation, $50 CJEA payment, $21 restitution and $50 bench warrant fee.
James M. Kervitis, 29, of Seltzer - DUI; 15 days house arrest with electronic monitoring, 45 days strict supervision, four months probation, $1,000 fine, $300 SAEF payment, $60 restitution to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street and 10 hours community service. Prosecutors withdrew charges of approaching intersection improperly and careless driving.
John R. Kruss, 39, of Mar Lin - theft of services; 12 months probation, $50 CJEA payment and $152.79 restitution.
Daniel C. Krynak, 58, of Girardville - two counts of receiving stolen property; 46 months probation. Prosecutors withdrew two counts of retail theft.
Thomas H. Mace, 66, of Tamaqua - DUI; six months probation, $300 fine, $300 SAEF payment and $60 restitution to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street.
Eladio Matos, 24, of Hazleton - recklessly endangering another person, careless driving and speeding; 30 days house arrest with electronic monitoring, 23 months probation, $60 in fines, $50 CJEA payment, $60 restitution to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street and drug and alcohol evaluation. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of DUI.
Roberta J. Mazack, 44, of Shenandoah - theft; 12 months probation and $50 CJEA payment. Prosecutors withdrew a receiving stolen property charge.
Michael P. O'Brien, 30, of Pottsville - possession of drug paraphernalia; 12 months probation, $100 SAEF payment and 10 hours community service. Prosecutors withdrew charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and driving without a license.
Shawn R. Pettis, 48, of Coaldale - fleeing or eluding police, DUI and disregarding traffic lane; 72 hours to six months in prison, 18 months consecutive probation, 41,025 in fines, $300 SAEF payment, $60 restitution to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street and 10 hours community service. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of careless driving.
George J. Prutzman, 53, of Saint Clair - DUI and driving on sidewalk; 72 hours to six months in prison, $1,025 in fines and $100 SAEF payment. Prosecutors withdrew charges of carrying a firearm without a license, careless driving, failure to drive at a safe speed and disregarding traffic lane.
All defendants who were sentenced must pay costs as a part of their sentences.
