About 675 pieces of artwork from Schuylkill Haven Area School District and St. Ambrose School, Schuylkill Haven, were displayed during April in 35 businesses in observance of Student Art Month in Schuylkill Haven.
Businesses that displayed the art include A Place In Time; Arlyn's Salon; Beer Haven; Brok Sel Market; Bruce's Auto Mall; Currey Jewelry; Dr. Bernice Machamer, Optometrist; Dr. Robert Kempes, DDS; Economic Development Office; First National Bank of Fredricksburg; Freed's Flowers; Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home; Hess Catering Deli; James Diversities; Lewis General Store; Lewis, Williams and Caravan; Luckenbill's Family Restaurant; M&T Bank; Millie's Kitchen; New China Restaurant; Reiley & Sterner Auto Sales; Rubright, Domalakes, Troy & McDonald; Schuylkill Haven Post Office; Schuylkill Haven Public Library; Serenity Salon & Spa; Sherwin Williams; Santander Bank; Spark Orthodontist; Spotts Insurance Group; Stone House B&B; The Jungle; Valenti's II Italian Restaurant; VIST Bank; Walk In Art Center and What's in the Oven.
The display was made possible with the help from art teachers, including Michael Wurster, Schuylkill Haven Area Elementary Center; Rachel Watts, Schuylkill Haven Area Middle and High schools; Luke Ott, Schuylkill Haven Area High School; Christine Johnson, St. Ambrose School and the Greater Schuylkill Haven Area Business Association.
