A Barnesville man violated a protection from abuse order, a Schuylkill County judge decided Wednesday.

Christopher Snyder, 42, is guilty of indirect criminal contempt, which is contempt committed outside the courtroom, Judge James P. Goodman ruled.

Goodman sentenced Snyder to pay costs, time already served in prison, spend 180 days on probation and undergo a mental health evaluation.

Mahanoy City police charged Snyder with violating the order on June 27, 2013, in the borough. Senior Judge D. Michael Stine entered the order on Aug. 29, 2012.

In other recent county court action, a Coaldale man will not have to spend more time in prison after admitting he sold cocaine three times in Tamaqua.

Trevor R. Christman, 20, pleaded guilty to three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, with prosecutors withdrawing three counts each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility and possession of a controlled substance.

Judge John E. Domalakes accepted Christman's plea and, pursuant to an agreement between prosecutors and the defendant, sentenced him to time served to 23 months in prison, pay costs, $300 to the Substance Abuse Eduction Fund, $150 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, $339 restitution to the state police crime laboratory in Bethlehem and $300 to the Tamaqua police, and submit a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities.

Tamaqua police charged Christman with selling 1.15 grams of cocaine for $100 on Aug. 21, 2013, 0.98 grams of cocaine for $100 on Sept. 11, 2013, and 0.78 grams of cocaine for $100 on Sept. 12, 2013.

Domalakes also accepted guilty pleas from, and, pursuant to agreements between prosecutors and the defendants, impose the indicated sentences on, these people:

David J. Halaburda, 19, of Barnesville - criminal trespass and access device fraud; time served to 12 months in prison with immediate parole, $50 CJEA payment and submission of a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities. Prosecutors withdrew charges of theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

Heim, 19, of Valley View - possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and flight to avoid apprehension; nine to 18 months in prison, $100 SAEF payment, $50 CJEA payment and $365 restitution to the state police crime laboratory in Bethlehem. Prosecutors withdrew a charge of manufacture of a controlled substance.

Khan, 21, of Pottsville - two counts of corruption of minors and one of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance; six to 12 months in prison, $100 SAEF payment, $113 restitution to the state police crime laboratory in Bethlehem and submission of a DNA sample to law enforcement authorities.

All defendants who were sentenced must pay costs as a part of their sentences.

Instead of taking his case to trial, a Shenandoah man admitted Thursday in Schuylkill County Court that he drove under the influence of alcohol in November 2012 in Ashland.

Shane Reinoehl, 27, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, with prosecutors withdrawing a charge of disregarding traffic lane.

Judge James P. Goodman, who had been scheduled to preside over Reinoehl's nonjury trial, instead accepted his plea and sentenced him to spend six months on probation and pay costs, a $300 fine, $100 to the Substance Abuse Education Fund, $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, a $50 bench warrant fee and $60 restitution to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street.

Ashland police alleged Reinoehl was DUI on Nov. 4, 2012, in the borough.
