In recent county court action, a Pottsville man is headed to state prison after admitting that he committed four burglaries in Tower City.

Herbert Seifert Jr., 50, must serve two to four years in a state correctional institution for his "escapades in Tower City," Judge John E. Domalakes ruled. He also sentenced Seifert to pay costs, $150 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account and $2,195 restitution.

Seifert pleaded guilty to four counts each of burglary and theft, admitting that he burglarized the Towne Market twice and the Brown Jug and Corky's Bar once each.

Domalakes also accepted guilty pleas from, and, pursuant to agreements between prosecutors and defendants, imposed the indicated sentences on, these people:

Eddie J. Hardison, 33, of Shenandoah - driving under the influence, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; presentence investigation ordered, sentencing scheduled for 9:30 a.m. May 27.

George P. Mitchell, 32, of Girardville - theft; six to 12 months in prison and $350 restitution. Prosecutors withdrew a receiving stolen property charge.

Sammy Jo Rohrbach, 27, of Pottsville; delivery of a controlled substance and false identification to law enforcement; six to 23 months in prison and $100 payment to the Substance Abuse Education Fund.

Ryan L. Seigel, 27, of Shenandoah - two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one of possession of drug paraphernalia; 12 months probation, $100 SAEF payment and $113 restitution to the state police crime laboratory in Bethlehem.

Teea Shoop, 22, of Tower City - defiant trespass, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct; 12 months probation consecutive to current sentence, $50 fine, $12 restitution and 10 hours community service.

Desiderio G. Vallejo, 43, of Shenandoah - DUI and disregarding traffic lane; 30 days to six months in prison, $775 in fines, $100 SAEF payment and 10 hours community service.

David J. Weaver, 55, of Coaldale - unlawful restraint; time served to 23 months in prison, 12 months consecutive probation, $50 CJEA payment and mental health evaluation. Prosecutors withdrew charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.

Garrison Zarcufsky, Shenandoah - two counts each of simple assault and possession of drug paraphernalia and one each of possession of a controlled substance and retail theft; time served to 12 months in prison with immediate parole, $50 fine, $100 SAEF payment, $50 CJEA payment and $50 bench warrant fee.

All defendants who were sentenced must pay costs as a part of their sentences.
