Burglars damage

PINE GROVE - One or more burglars caused $400 damage to a cabin on property owned by the Pine Grove Fish and Game Gun Club between Thursday night and Friday night, state police at Schuylkill Haven said Saturday night.
Police said that between 7 p.m. Thursday and 6:14 p.m. Friday, someone went onto the gated property just off Sam Wolfe Road in Pine Grove Township and entered a small cabin through an unlocked door.
Someone then dropped the contents of the cabin into an adjacent pond and then fled the scene with miscellaneous fishing supplies, including a bag and a rod, police said.

post office damage
SUMMIT STATION - State police at Schuylkill Haven are looking for a hit-and-run vehicle that recently struck the U.S. Post Office at Summit Station.
The incident occurred at 2:20 p.m. April 30 at 5 Spring Road in Wayne Township. The vehicle, a dark 2001 Saturn, was headed west in the post office parking lot when it hit a metal bar in front of the building and then hit the building, causing damage and knocking over a table inside the office, police said Saturday night.
The post office was closed at the time, but the driver failed to leave contact or insurance information and fled the scene, police said.

State police probe
series of incidents
State police at Hamburg are investigating incidents in which a 14-year-old boy from the borough was harassing a 15-year-old girl, police said Sunday.
On Saturday, May 10, the girl and her father visted state police at Hamburg to report a series of incidents that occurred over a 10-day period on a Hamburg School District intermediate van to KidsPeace in Temple, police said in a public information release report Sunday.
The investigation is continuing, police said.
