n Frackville: St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church, West Oak Street, will stage a halupki sale beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday. Halupkis are $2 each and people wanting more than a dozen are asked to call ahead at 570-578-8568.

n Hazleton: A show titled "Rock the Castle" is set for 5:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday at The Wiltsie Center at the Historic Castle, 700 N. Wyoming St. General admission is $10. n Mahanoy City: The Mahanoy City Elks Lodge will sponsor a meat bingo from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the lodge, 135 E. Centre St. Food will be served during the games, which are open to the public. Doors will open at 7 p.m. For more information, call 570-573-2649.

n Mahanoy City: A pork and sauerkraut dinner is set for 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Good American Hose Company, Eighth Street and Mahanoy Avenue. Meals, $8.50 each, will also include mashed potatoes, applesauce, dessert and a beverage. Patrons may eat at the firehall or take meals out. n Mahanoy City: The West End Fire and Rescue Company will hold a Longaberger Basket bingo on Sunday at the firehouse, 700 W. n Minersville: The Minersville High School Class of 1964 is planning for its 50th year class reunion and is looking for the following classmates: Paula Flannery Lytle, Arlene Melincavage, Carolyn Recla Schlecker and Robert Sidleck. n Orwigsburg: The borough will host a communitywide yard sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. A map of sale locations has been developed and is available online at http://bit.ly/1qBtNyI. n Pine Grove: An American Red Cross blood drive is set for 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Pine Grove Ambulance site, Spruce Street. People 17 and older, weighing at least 110 pounds and in general good health are eligible to donate blood. Identification is needed. n Pine Grove: Pine Grove Area High School Alumni Association banquet is set for May 24 at the Pine Grove Area Middle School. A social hour will begin at 5 p.m. following by dinner at 6 p.m. The cost is $21 each and advance tickets are required. Tickets can be picked up at Werner Lumber and Carol's Flowers. n Schuylkill Haven: Trina's Tresses, 372 Center Ave., will sponsor an open house benefit for the Ruth M. Steinert Memorial SPCA from 4 to 9 p.m. May 21. During the event, the salon will offer hair cuts, facials and waxing services with 100 percent of the proceeds donated to the SPCA. The Steinert mascot, Rocket, will be attending. n Summit Station: The 13th annual Bear Creek Festival is set for noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Schuylkill County Fairgrounds. It will include live entertainment, flower pot painting, a cow milking contest, horse and wagon rides, animal balloon making and a myriad other activities. All are welcome.
