Boy charged
with underage
HEGINS - A 17-year-old male from Hegins will have charges for underage drinking filed against him.
State police at Schuylkill Haven will charge the boy after he was found lying on Quaker Road in Hubley Township on Thursday at 11:25 p.m.
Police said it was determined he was allegedly intoxicated after he woke up. He was later taken to Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street. Charges will be filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge Carol Pankake, Tremont.
