Tamaqua Area
Madelyn Dolinsky, a junior at Tamaqua Area High School, was selected as the recipient of the 2014 Dr. John & Nell Forrest Vocal Scholarship. The scholarship entitles Madelyn to attend a two-week vocal camp at the prestigious Westminster Choir College on the campus of Ryder University, Princeton, New Jersey.
While on campus, Madelyn will join students from all over the world and participate in music classes, private voice lessons and group singing as a member of the vocal institute choir. The camp concludes with a concert for the public featuring the camps concert choir.
Madelyn is a member of the Tri-M Music National Honor Society, concert choir and Jazz & Concert Chorale at Tamaqua Area.
She is a daughter of Richard and Michelle Dolinsky, Hometown.
