n Saint Clair: Schuylkill on the Move, which promotes steps toward good health through walking, will sponsor The Wolf Creek Waterfalls Walk from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 2. The scenic waterfalls is located above Saint Clair. Participants will meet on the Burma Road about a mile outside of Saint Clair. They will pull off to the right of the Burma Road and carpool to the hike. The more than 4-mile trek is rated moderate. n Schuylkill Haven: The Diakon Senior Community Center, rear, 121 Main St., will host a free "Movie Madness" from 12:30 to 3 p.m. July 15 at the center. n Schuylkill Haven: The Walk In Art Center sent out a call to artists as it announced plans for a special youth art exhibit with Pottsville native Lance Rautzhan as curator, juror and collaborator. The exhibit, titled "A Sense of Place," is "influenced by the surroundings and place in which it is created ... not just about physical surroundings but also ... the experiences and people that come with occupying the physical place, which leaves the door open to all kinds of ideas," organizers said in a release. Opening night for the exhibit is 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 13. It will remain in place for the center's Kick Up Your Heels V fundraiser Sept. 19 and through November. It is open to young residents of Schuylkill County who are 15-18 years old. The mediums for the exhibit are watercolor, acrylic on canvas, oil on canvas, mixed media and drawing and illustration. The maximum number of pieces is 30.
