Temple
John Michael Harding, son of Steven and Krista Harding, Orwigsburg, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of fine arts with dual degrees in graphic design and art education from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University, Philadelphia.
Lafayette
John F. Keller Jr., Orwigsburg, graduated summa cum laude from Lafayette College, Easton, with a bachelor's degree in computer science.
He was a member of Upsilon Pi Epsilon honorary society for men and women studying computer science and was a recipient of the James P. Schwar Prize awarded annually to a deserving computer science student.
He completed his senior thesis, "Simultaneous Localization and Mapping with a Multi Robot Team" for which he won honors.
John was part of the EXCEL Scholars undergraduate research program at Lafayette. In 2012, he collaborated with Xiaoyan Li, associate professor of commuter science, and presented the paper, "Reducing the Computational Cost of Ratio-based Indoor Localization" at the Sixth International workshop on Wireless Mesha and Ad Hoc Network, which was part of the 21st International Conference on Computer Communications and Networks in Munich, Germany.
John was offered a Lehigh Presidential Fellowship and will attend Lehigh University, Bethlehem, this fall. He will enter into the computer science Ph.D. program with a focus on artificial intelligence and robotics.
John is a 2010 graduate of King's Academy, Mohrsville, Berks County. He is a son of Renee Keller-Brown and Dave Brown, Orwigsburg, and Jack and Dennette Keller, Schuylkill Haven. His maternal grandparents are Robert and Ruth Luckenbill, Lake Wynonah, and paternal grandparents are Gary and Evelyn Keller, Schuylkill Haven.
Penn State
Jonathan R. Mercuri, Pottsville, graduated with high distinction from Penn State University, University Park campus, on May 10 with a bachelor's degree in advertising/public relations.
He has accepted an internship with Media Math Inc., Times Square, New York City.
Jonathan is a 2010 graduate of Pottsville Area High School. He is a son of Ron and Joanne Mercuri, Pottsville, and a grandson of John and Maria Mercuri, Pottsville.
Albright
Lauren Rose Pupko graduated magna cum laude during spring commencement from Albright College, Reading, with a bachelor's degree in psychology and Spanish. She received departmental distinction in psychology and was named a Jacob Albright Scholar after receiving a final cumulative GPA of 3.83.
During her college career, Lauren completed a summer internship at Schuylkill County Adult Probation and Parole Department, Pottsville, and presented psychology research in New York and Boston.
At an Eastern Psychological Association Conference, she was awarded the Eastern Regional Psychology Award for her research in the field of forensic psychology. She also completed her senior honors thesis, "Perceptions of Criminal Behavior Based on Physical Appearance, Voice-Pitch Manipulation, and Gender."
At Albright, she was a sister in Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, president of Psi Chi, the International Psychology Honor Society, and a member of Sigma Delta Pi, the International Spanish Honor Society.
She plans to attend Marymount University, Arlington, Va., this fall to pursue a master's degree in forensic and legal psychology.
Lauren is a daughter of Roseanne Long, Mahanoy City, and a 2010 graduate of Marian High School.
Duke
Matthew G. Zanis graduated May 11 from Duke University with a doctor in physical therapy degree. He earned his bachelor's degree in athletic training from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011 and graduated from Pottsville Area High School in 2007.
Dr. Zanis has accepted a position at Swing Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy, Peoria, Ariz.

Shane W. Borzok, Frackville, graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester on May 18 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry.
A graduate of Cardinal Brennan High School, Shane is a son of Walter and Marlene Borzok.
Wilkes
Victoria Yakobosky graduated with a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre.
A 2010 graduate of Nativity BVM High School, she was the recipient of the Dean's Scholarship at the university.
While at Wilkes, she was a starting defensive specialist and a two-year captain and recruiter for the Wilkes University Lady Colonel volleyball team. She received the leadership award for Wilkes volleyball and held offices in numerous organizations, including AWMA, sustainability club, ASHRAE Club, outdoor adventure club and letterwoman's club. During her internship at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals, Victoria led a project to reduce the amount of phosphorus in the water discharge of the Malvern facility.
She has accepted an engineering position with Suburban Consulting Engineers, Mount Arlington, N.J.
Victoria is a daughter of Joe and Donna Yakobosky, Auburn, and granddaughter of Leona Matscavage, MaryD.
