The Pine Grove man charged with having sex-related contact with a teenage girl in November 2012 in Lebanon County will not go on trial until April.
John J. Schaeffer, 32, faces charges of criminal solicitation, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and dissemination of explicit sexual material to a minor.
However, Schaeffer, who was originally scheduled to go on trial Monday in Lebanon County Court, now is scheduled to go on trial there on April 7 before Judge Bradford H. Charles.
Lebanon County prosecutors could not be reached Monday for comment on why the case was continued.
State police at Jonestown have alleged that Schaeffer sent nude pictures of himself to a 16-year-old girl on Nov, 15, 2012, in Jonestown.
Police said Schaeffer also sent lewd text messages to the girl and attempted to have her send to him nude pictures of herself, which she did not do.
Schaeffer, who was arrested in Pine Grove, remains free on $50,000 straight cash bash pending further court action. John J. Schaeffer
