CRESSONA - State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a Ford F-150 that occurred at 4:40 p.m. Saturday at Second and Chestnut streets.
Police said borough resident Michael Tipping, 24, left his red 1996 pickup truck running while he was carrying items into his apartment when someone took it and fled south on Route 183.

Tremont teen
not hurt in crash
PINE GROVE - A 17-year-old Tremont boy escaped injury after his car rolled over Friday afternoon on Suedberg Road in Pine Grove Township, police said.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said the teen was eastbound on Route 443 at 1:06 p.m. in a 2001 Volkswagen JTI when he lost control on the icy road and struck a large, frozen pile of snow along the north berm, causing the car to roll over several times before coming to a rest on its roof.
Police said the boy was wearing a seat belt and received a traffic citation as a result of the accident.
Pine Grove man
faces DUI charge
MYERSTOWN - A DUI charge against a Pine Grove man is pending the outcome of a blood alcohol test following a traffic stop Friday morning in Jackson Township, Lebanon County, police said.
State police at Jonestown said Dustin F. West, 29, was arrested for driving under the influence during the traffic stop at 12:13 a.m. on Ramona Road, just north of Route 422.
Theft at store
is investigated
Someone placed a sweater in a plastic bag and left a department store without paying for it Friday evening at Fairlane Village mall in Norwegian Township, police said.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred at 8:53 p.m. at Kohl's when the person took a Chap's black and white checked sweater valued at $32 and fled the store.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
