TREMONT - A Porter Township man is headed to Schuylkill County Court after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday on charges stemming from what police allege was an incident earlier this month.

Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi bound over those charges for the county court after Dehaan waived his right to a hearing.

State police at Schuylkill Haven allege Dehaan committed those crimes on March 3 in Porter Township. He remains free on $5,000 unsecured bail pending further court action in his case.
