Police investigate
criminal mischief
SAINT CLAIR - State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a criminal mischief incident that occurred between Sept. 13 and March 21 at 433 Pottsville-Saint Clair Highway in East Norwegian Township.
Police said Robert Ozols, Tremont, reported someone entered his vehicle while it was parked at that location and damaged a square shaped plastic tab on the steering column before fleeing.

Ringtown man
faces DUI charges
MAHANOY CITY - A Ringtown man was charged with DUI after he refused to take a blood test following a traffic stop by Mahanoy City police about 11 p.m. March 10 at Main Street and Mahanoy Avenue.
Police said officers stopped a vehicle driven by David R. Moran Jr., 47, of 114 Main Boulevard, after seeing him drive through a stop sign without stopping.
Moran showed signs of being intoxicated and also told officers his license had been suspended, police said.
Prior to being returned to the police station, police said, Moran also refused to take field sobriety tests. He was charged with a misdemeanor count of DUI and one summary charge of duties at a stop sign and driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked.
