TAMAQUA - A former borough man charged in connection with a Dec. 15 incident at Fegley's Mini Mart in Tamaqua had charges against him held for court during a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Stephen J. Bayer.

James E. Gilson, 19, of 649 1/2 Susquehanna Ave., Sunbury, was arrested by Tamaqua police Patrolman Anthony Stanell and charged with one count each of defiant trespass and retail theft. Bayer determined the commonwealth proved a prima facie case and ordered both charges held for Schuylkill County Court.
