ELIZABETHVILLE - A Lykens man is headed to Dauphin County Court after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday on charges resulting from an incident in February in his hometown.

Tyler R. Underkoffler, 21, of 664 N. Second St., faces charges of terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment and three counts of harassment.

Magisterial District Judge Rebecca J. Margerum bound over those charges for court after Underkoffler waived his right to the hearing.

State police at Lykens alleged Underkoffler committed his crimes on Feb. 11 in Lykens.

Underkoffler is free on $25,000 straight cash bail pending further court action.

Other defendants whose cases Margerum considered on Tuesday, the charges against each one and the judge's dispositions of the matters included:

Brian Askins, 42, of 3908 Durham Road, Harrisburg; terroristic threats; charge withdrawn.

Robert L. Behney, 35, of 150 W. Market St., Berrysburg; theft, theft by deception and receiving stolen property; right to preliminary hearing waived, charges bound over for court.

Zachary K. Bloch, 19, of 298 Hill Road, Hegins; retail theft and driving under suspension; charges held for court after preliminary hearing.

Sheldon J. Caster, 23, of 643 North St., Lykens; driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lane, careless driving and driving under suspension-DUI related; right to preliminary hearing waived, charges bound over for court.

Corey A. Ferree, 33, of 1351 State Route 25, Millersburg; theft and possession of a controlled substance; right to preliminary hearing waived, charges bound over for court.

Alea M. Kreiser, 23, of 125 W. Broad St., Williamstown; theft of lost property; right to preliminary hearing waived, charge bound over for court.

Cory D. Lucas, 34, of 1 E. Mountain St., Williamstown; possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; right to preliminary hearing waived, charges bound over for court.

Matthew S. Wrobbel, 38, of 1046 State Route 209, Millersburg; DUI, operating vehicle without required financial responsibility, stop sign violation and improper turning movements; right to preliminary hearing waived, operating vehicle without required financial responsibility charge withdrawn, other charges bound over for court.
