Schuylkill County District Attorney Karen Byrnes-Noon and Chief County Detective Dennis Clark are asking for the public's help in finding a New Philadelphia man wanted for failing to appear in Schuylkill County Court last year.
Police said Jeffrey S. Boyer was scheduled to appear Oct. 17 to enter a guilty plea but failed to do so.
Police said Boyer is white, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. His last known address is 54 Wiggan St., police said.
Police said Boyer was scheduled to plead guilty to a charge of theft by unlawful taking stemming from an incident on June 29, 2011.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this man or any other fugitive in Schuylkill County is asked to call the district attorney's office at 570-628-1350.
Anyone who may see or come in contact with Boyer is asked to call the Schuylkill County Communications Center or their local police department immediately.
Callers are asked to refer to incident 07-07-13 when calling with information on the whereabouts of Boyer.
