Tri-Valley Lions

The Tri-Valley Lions welcomed Brooke Schaffer as the outstanding student in the arts for May.

Her parents, Tracy and Franklin Schaffer, accompanied her to the meeting as she presented an impressive display. Among the different art forms she employed were charcoals, acrylics, ceramics, tissue paper/mod-podge and a wire sculpture, all beautifully done and capably described.

Brooke's school activities included the art club, varsity soccer and stage crew for drama activities. She also served as a bulldog mascot for Tri-Valley High School. During the summer, she was employed by Knoebels Amusement Resort, Elysburg.

She will attend Bloomsburg University and major in the nursing program and hopefully continue her interest in art.
