A Mahanoy City man will not have to spend more time in prison after being sentenced Wednesday in Schuylkill County Court.
Robert F. Seigel, 25, was sentenced by Judge James P. Goodman to time served to 12 months in prison, and also must pay costs and $1,875.16 restitution.
Seigel pleaded guilty on May 30 before Judge Charles M. Miller to theft of leased property.
Shenandoah police had charged Seigel with stealing the property on June 4, 2012, in the borough.
In another Wednesday case, Jeffrey J. Chernetsky, 35, of Shenandoah, pleaded guilty to indirect criminal contempt, which is contempt committed outside the courtroom, for violating a protection from abuse order.
Senior Judge D. Michael Stine accepted Chernetsky's plea and sentenced him to serve 16 days in prison and pay costs and a $300 fine.
"Don't violate the order again," Stine warned Chernetsky. "If you need help, get it."
Shenandoah police had charged Chernetsky with violating the order by going to the victim's home on June 24 in the borough.
Also on Wednesday, Stine found Donald A. Wrona, 41, of Pottsville, guilty of indirect criminal contempt for violating a protection from abuse order.
Stine sentenced Wrona to pay costs and a $300 fine.
State police at Schuylkill Haven had charged Wrona with violating the order on June 16.
