Man leaves truck
blocking Route 61
DEER LAKE - A Tower City man faces traffic charges after an incident at 5:35 p.m. Saturday in West Brunswick Township.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Brian L. Love Sr., 34, was driving a 1997 Ford F-150 south on Route 61 within the cattle chute of a construction zone near Coal Mountain Road.
Love's truck hit both sides of the jersey barrier, stopped his vehicle and left it on the highway. The vehicle was placed in neutral and rolled down the hill near Rolling Mill Road.
Love eventually returned to the scene and the vehicle was towed away. Love was not injured.
The stopped truck caused traffic to back up on Route 61. Police said Love will face a traffic violation for leaving his truck on the highway.
